Top 5 Theme Parks Apps on iOS in the UK: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, the performance of the top 5 theme park apps on iOS in the United Kingdom showcased interesting trends across downloads and active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Alton Towers Resort — Official started strong in early July with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 18.6K. However, by the end of September, this number declined to around 5.2K. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, rising from 16.6K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 24.2K in late August, before settling at 21.8K by the end of September.

THORPE PARK – Official experienced a similar pattern. Weekly downloads began at 11K, climbed to 13.7K mid-July, and then tapered down to 5.8K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a comparable trajectory, starting at 15.5K, peaking at 18.8K mid-July, and concluding the quarter at 9.5K.

Disneyland® Paris showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 6.2K and peaking at 8.3K in mid-August, before slightly declining to 6.5K by the quarter's end. The app's active user base increased from 13.3K to a peak of 16.3K in late August, eventually closing the quarter at 14.2K.

LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort saw its weekly downloads climb from 4.9K at the start of July to 8.9K by late August, then drop to 3.2K by the end of September. Active users increased from 12.4K to 18.3K over the quarter, before decreasing to 10.8K in the final week.

Chessington Resort began with 4.5K in weekly downloads, which rose to 7.6K by late August and fell to 1.9K by the end of the quarter. Active users followed a similar path, starting at 13.9K, peaking at 19.2K, and ending at 12.6K.
